Terms
Terms of use
How you may use this site, its code and its writing.
Who runs this site
open tomato is run by Marcos Tomatti, a private individual in Sweden. Nothing on the site is sold, and the site has no accounts. Using the site means these terms apply.
Provided as is
The projects on this site are working examples from research. They are pre-1.0, so they change often and can break between versions. They are provided as is, with no warranty that they work, fit your use, or are free of errors. Read each project鈥檚 notes before running it, and run it somewhere you can afford to lose.
As far as Swedish law allows, Marcos Tomatti is not liable for loss or damage that comes from using the site or the projects.
Code
The code of the projects shown here is licensed under Apache-2.0. The licence file in each repository is what applies, and it includes its own warranty disclaimer. If a repository states a different licence, that licence applies to that repository.
Writing
The dev diary鈥檚 text is licensed under CC BY 4.0. You may copy, re-post, translate and adapt it, for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as you credit open tomato, link to the original entry and to the licence, and say if you changed it. You may not suggest that open tomato endorses your version. The licence covers the text only: the open tomato name and mark, and the code, are not part of it.
Each diary entry has a plain-markdown version, and the RSS feed carries the full entries, so re-posting a whole entry is easy and welcome. The markdown version already carries the original鈥檚 address and the licence line, which covers the credit the licence asks for.
Links to other sites
The site links to other sites, such as GitHub and the networks behind the share buttons. Those sites have their own terms, and this site is not responsible for their content.
Changes
These terms may change. The date below says when they last did, and the version in force is the one on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes go to the Swedish courts. If you use the site as a consumer, this does not take away any protection the law of your own country gives you.
Contact
Questions about these terms go to contact@opentomato.io. Bug reports and questions about a project go to that project鈥檚 issues on GitHub.
